About Me
There are dozens of different therapists, and it can be daunting when you’re looking for a counsellor. I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), and I adhere to their ethical guidelines, whilst empathically providing a safe and confidential space to explore the difficulties you’re facing.
I am experienced in general counselling, including anxiety, bereavement, depression, relationships, self-esteem, abuse, stress, and work-related issues. I have worked with children and teenagers as well as with adults and couples. I am also experienced in supporting people struggling with bereavement, having previously worked with the counselling team at the Hospice in the Weald prior to setting up Grove Counselling. I offer face-to-face short-term and long-term counselling. I am truly passionate about the counselling process and believe it can help people make sense of their past as well as equipping them with the skills and knowledge to move forward positively with their lives. It can be a bit like putting pieces of jigsaw puzzle together and seeing the picture for the first time. |
